In the past couple of months I have had a half dozen conversations with teachers about students — almost all of them males — that are staying up very late playing video games. Most often the game of choice is the relatively new phenomenon Fortnite. Perhaps your son is one of these, or if not one that stays up late and night, is playing video games more than doing anything else. The reality is that video games are tough competition for other things going on in a young man’s life, and it should be a concern to parents.
